Gentle Giant's Beatles Audio And Video

Welcome to my Li'l Wally Tribute Page!

I know that people looking at my Beatles pages will really be wondering what this is all about,  so I'll give a short explanation. My grandparents on my mother's side came from Poland.  When I was very young, my grandmother,Aniela Kobylanski, came to live with my family.  My mother would play polka music quite often, and she soon realized that when she would put the polka music on, even when I was in my crib, I would be much happier.  My love of polka music has gone on throughout my whole life.

I especially love the music of this man.  His name was Walter Jagiello.  He was born in 1930 and was raised on the south side of Chicago.  At the age of eight, he started singing at the local picnics, usually as the vocalist for the Eddie Zima band.  He eventually formed his own band.  He played concertina and drums as well as singing.  He created what is now known as the Chicago style of polka music, which is played at a slightly slower tempo and features more brass than the eastern style of polka music.  In 1951, he started his own record company,Jay Jay Records.  He recorded over 100 albums from then until his death in 2006.  He was a very influential person in the polka music industry.

What I have included here are scans of most of the Li'l Wally albums that I personally own.  I have included these scans to share my love of polka music and the work of Li'l Wally.  I hope that you enjoy these scans.
